Introduction

FÁS Training Programme Services are provided by Training Centres and External Training. Individuals can also avail of training under the Job Training Scheme, the Training Support Scheme and the Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

TRAINING CENTRES
The four FÁS Training Centres in the Dublin North Region are located in Baldoyle, Cabra, Centre City and Finglas. These centres provide more than fifty different courses of an industrial, business and developmental nature which provide participants with appropriate skills training, update existing skills and match these skills to employer needs. These courses are certified to international standards through the joint FÁS / City & Guilds of London Institute agreement which applies to FÁS programmes. Participants are paid a training allowance while on these courses. They may also be eligible for a travel allowance or accommodation subsidy.
