Local Development Programme

This programme recognises the importance of a local dimension to enterprise and employment creation and the importance of developing the capabilities of local communities to contribute to tackling unemployment and pursuing local development. The Local Development Programme is implemented through Community Employment, Enterprise Partnership Boards and, in designated disadvantaged areas, Area Partnership Companies.
